Lima claims to be the “capital de gastronomia de las Americas,” and with each bite of tres leches cake, we come closer to agreeing. After deciding to take a hiatus from our mostly vegetarian ways (the family business in Bolivia is cattle ranching, after all) and employing my sister’s motto of “eat first, ask later,” we’ve tried some very unique and pretty amazing dishes. We will try to learn how to make some of our favorites, so that we can share the deliciousness when we return. Bon Appetit!
